Frequently asked questions
Can parents track their child's admission status online?
Yes. Parents receive a unique application number and login link via SMS/email after submitting their enquiry. They can log in to the parent portal to view their application status, pending documents, interview slot, and payment dues — without needing to call or visit the school.
Does the system support RTE quota seat allocation separately?
Yes. You can define separate seat quotas for RTE (Right to Education), management, and general categories per class. The seat tracker shows available seats in each category independently. RTE admissions go through a separate workflow with income certificate verification and state portal integration where applicable.
How does the automated parent communication work?
The system triggers predefined message templates at each admission stage — enquiry acknowledgement, document request, interview confirmation, seat allotment, and fee reminder. Messages go via WhatsApp Business API and SMS simultaneously. You can customise message templates, timing, and the WhatsApp sender name in the admin panel.
Can the software integrate with our existing school ERP or student management system?
Yes. Confirmed student records can be exported to Excel, or integrated directly via API with popular school ERPs. Once a student is admitted, their data (name, class, parent details, document copies) transfers automatically to your student management system — eliminating duplicate data entry.
What happens if a parent does not pay the fee within the booking window?
When a seat is provisionally allocated, the system creates a payment deadline (default 48 hours, customisable). Automated reminders are sent at 24 hours and 6 hours before the deadline. If the deadline passes without payment, the seat is automatically released back to the available pool, and the next eligible applicant is notified.
